The Health & Safety Review 2021 is re-examining health and safety at High Salvington MIll Trust from the ground up, following an accident in April 2021 and an analysis that highlighted flaws at every level of existing practice, procedures, training and documentation.

    • Status: Initial draft from Paul is very good but we are seeking to establish how many RAs are required or whether we have one big one with different sections covering scenarios.
    • Awaiting feedback from Hazel Roper at Volunteer Centre relating to RAs.
      • Introduced to Lloyd Harris from WBC.
    • Sections identified as missing from Paul's first draft include:
      • Working at height
      • Lifting, e.g. Runner Stone, Wind pump buck, stocks, sails.
      • Allergy, e.g. wheat allergy
      • Risk from rotating machinery inside windmill
      • Risks to volunteers from little mills.
