- ffmpeg for transcoding videos to a format suitable for playing in a web browser and reducing file sizes. Concatenation of VOB fragments from a DVD with the concat function, but care needs to be taken as ffmpeg needs to work on a stream file for concatenation. This tool can also be used, within a script, to create countdown video interludes for the mill's video kiosk.
