This project is being implemented using the Simple Membership Wordpress plug-in.
Done
- Evaluation of Wordpress plug-ins.
- Experimentation with Simple Membership in staging environment.
- Installation in live Wordpress site.
- Initial configuration of core pages.
- Liaise with Treasurer over choice of payment provider.
- Treasurer very resistant to using a second payment processor, Stripe, after we have started using Squarefor taking card payments on the mill field.
Project redesign. Cannot use any of the payment processors supported by SimpleMembership. Square has facilities for adding payment buttons to web pages.
Abandoned
- Stripe approved. Alternative would be PayPal, or use a different plug-in.
- HSBC does not offer any suitable API for creating payment buttons on a web page.
- Install payment buttons for each membership category.
- Finalise text on core pages.
- Test - against payment provider's test service.
- Test - against payment provider's live service.

- Created items in Square interface for each membership type.
- Created subscription types for memberships.
- Created Annual Single and Dual membership payment buttons.
- Created Life membership payment button.
- Embedded buttons on "Join" page.
