BirdX Anti Bird Fouling Measures
From High Salvington Mill Trust
Back to Projects
In 2010, with the windmill slowly turning white due to the, mostly, pigeons spending a lot of time on the roof, the Trust engaged Bird-X to tackle the problem. Using a large cherry-picker their contractor washed down the mill and installed anti-bird spikes on the lead ridge of the mill.
While the cherry picker was available, Peter Casebow and Roy Beynon used it to get a closer look at the cladding, in search of the cause of known leaks.
