Fire Alarm Procedures
From High Salvington Mill Trust
The assembly point is:
by the electrical box on the north perimeter.
The fire alarm signal is one of the guides blowing their fire whistle.
When a fire whistle is sounded, visitors and volunteers should proceed as quickly and safely as possible to the assembly point.
If able please help the guides check that the toilets and granary are cleared.
The lead guide will be responsible for ensuring the evacuation is complete and for contacting the emergency services.
Please ensure the site entrance is kept clear for the arrival of the emergency services.
Visitors may leave the site if they choose to do so as we cannot perform any roll call, but should be wary of the possible arrival of emergency services.
